Jane Newman
Working in plein air, Jane paints landscapes using oil paints as a tool. She handles paint loosely, applying it quickly to capture the light on the landscape. This allows her to capture the moment, to capture the emotional response that initially drew her to paint a particular landscape.

Jane spent 20 plus years in graphic arts, but now has the freedom to paint full time. She has been accepted into juried exhibits across the U.S. and her work is in collections worldwide.
